  1. Locate the Lumencore SPECTRA X light source bellow the monitor. Locate alternative filter-set. Open top cover on SPECTRA X light source.

    • Locate the Lumencore SPECTRA X light source bellow the monitor.

    • Locate alternative filter-set.

    • Open top cover on SPECTRA X light source.

    • Make sure that there that "Live" is not active in NIS Elements.

    • Locate “TRITC/mCherry” filter slot.

  2. Remove current holder. Insert new holder: verify label/orientation, slide into G until it clicks. Close cover.

    • Remove current holder.

    • Insert new holder: verify label/orientation, slide into G until it clicks.

    • Close cover.

  3. Open Lumencore Configurations. In NIS Elements change the SPECTRA X line accordingly (to have correct meta data). If TRITC inserted: write here 555 for correct metadata

    • Open Lumencore Configurations.

    • In NIS Elements change the SPECTRA X line accordingly (to have correct meta data).

    • If TRITC inserted: write here 555 for correct metadata

    • If mCherry inserted: write here 575 for correct metadata

    • TRITC Filter inserted: SPECTRA X line: 555 nm

    • mCherry Filter inserted: SPECTRA X line: 575 nm
